Allegheny Bradford Corporation Receives Patent For New Opti-Clean Style Filter Housing
Dan McCune, President and CEO of Allegheny Bradford Corporation, announced that the company's proprietary Opti-Clean style filter housing has received a patent by the US Patent Office. Allegheny Bradford's Opti-Clean is the first and only multi-round filter housing designed for maximum drain-ability. Its innovative technology eliminates the collection chamber of traditional housings and incorporates the cartridge plate right in the base. Each cartridge socket in the unique Opti-Clean is individually machined directly to the outlet port.
Mr. McCune reported that the design has been received with extraordinary acceptance in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, noting that several large biotech companies have standardized on this product.
Allegheny Bradford is the leading manufacturer of high quality stainless steel processing equipment for the pharmaceutical/biotech industry including shell and tube heat exchangers, filter housings, including the proprietary Opti-Clean design, tanks and pressure vessels and modular process skids.
