Buck Valves and Docking Systems -- Niro Pharma Systems
As a result of its parent company GEA-AG's acquisition of the Pharmaceutical Division of GEI International plc, Niro Inc. now offers Buck high-containment systems, including the patented Buck valve and docking system, a standard in the pharmaceutical industry.
Buck split-valve technology allows containers to connect with (and disconnect from) intermediate bulk containers and various process equipment while maintaining a dust-tight seal. The design eliminates contamination of the product or leakage of material that might endanger operators. Buck valves may be built into new equipment or retrofitted to existing equipment.
Advantages of the Buck docking system are:
- Complete containment prevents contamination or leakage
- Unique discharge system eliminates bridging in container
- Vacuum rated
- Manual or fully automatic control
- Variety of options, from valves to complete turnkey processing systems
