Aptar Pharma Unveils A Multi-Language Website To Meet Local Customers' Needs

In April 2010, Aptargroup announced the realignment of its activities including its pharmaceutical business under a common brand: Aptar Pharma. The launch of our new website in 2011 associated the Aptar Pharma brand with our established world-leading position as provider of innovative drug delivery devices.

Since this realignment, Aptar Pharma’s website traffic has more than doubled and is continuing to develop. This significant increase shows that users appreciate the easy access to the comprehensive product and service offering content, which is structured by therapeutic application. It is also due to growing demand for information from emerging markets.

We are now launching a new multi-language version of the Aptar Pharma website to meet the needs of a changing market, and in response to customer feedback.

Getting closer to our customers
The Aptar Pharma website is now available in four more languages: Chinese, French, German and Spanish, this in addition to English, the original language. Access in other languages, including Portuguese, will be available in 2014. These languages were chosen to meet the information needs of our local customers and stakeholders in increasingly important regional markets.

This multi-language information repository is primarily designed to make it even easier for our customers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors to identify the most appropriate solution to fit their needs. The website also provides information for academics, media, partners and suppliers, as well as other members of the pharmaceutical community.

Our website visitors now have easy access in their own languages to comprehensive information about Aptar Pharma. These information resources include a company snapshot with our identity and our strategy as well as key facts and figures; detailed information about our products and services and their therapeutic areas of application; scientific materials for academics and researchers; and media resources for the press.

Being global
Aptar Pharma was one of the pioneers in the local manufacturing of drug delivery systems. Our production facility in Argentina, which was opened in 1981, serves the pharmaceutical markets of Central and Latin America. Aptar Pharma started its manufacturing operation in Suzhou, China in 1996 to serve both China and other Asian countries, and was the first company licensed to manufacture spray and aerosol drug delivery devices in China. In early 2012, a new manufacturing site was opened in Mumbai, building on 22 years of presence in India. In Latin America and Asia, Aptar Pharma has been market leader for several years now, and will continue to expand its business in these local markets, which require adapted communication tools and materials.
