Catalent Pharma Solutions, a leading provider of outsourced clinical and commercial packaging services to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, announced the appointment of Benoit Cossart as Vice President and General Manager for the Commercial Packaging business of its Packaging Services segment. Cossart will be located at Catalent's Red Lion Road facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Cossart joins Catalent after having been President and CEO of the U.S. subsidiary of LTS Lohmann Therapy Systems, a pharmaceutical drug delivery and contract manufacturing business whose headquarters is in Germany. Prior positions include Worldwide Director for Sales and Business Development at Rhodia Pharma Solutions, and other positions of increasing responsibility. Cossart holds a Master of Engineering, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering degree from I.C.A.M. College in France.
