For the second year in a row, Midwest Colorcon Coating School® partners with Natoli to deliver the technical training course, Film Coating Technology. The course will be held on June 16-17, 2009 at Natoli's technical training center in St. Charles, MO.
Designed for anyone involved in the design, development and scale-up of film-coated dosage forms and coating processes; this course provides a broad understanding on the fundamentals of tablet design and film coating. Colorcon and Natoli technical experts collaborate their expertise to help course attendees find the right solutions to product design needs.
Jeff Moore, manager of pharmaceutical technical services, Colorcon, and course guest speaker, states; "The Colorcon Coating School® Education Program includes knowledge on the basics of film coating technology, hands-on experience with laboratory scale and production coating machinery, troubleshooting and on-going advancements in tablet coating formulation… that together with Natoli's expertise in tool design, tablet compression technology and manufacturing creates the perfect combination."
