Minneapolis, MN – Mar Cor Purification has hired Curtis D. Weitnauer to be their new President. Mr. Weitnauer joins Mar Cor Purification after more than 20 years of industry experience with GE Water & Process Technologies and Osmonics Inc. (now a part of GE Water).

For the past three years, Mr. Weitnauer has served as the Global Equipment Supply Chain Leader for GE Water responsible for optimization of North American plants and globalization of GE Water's equipment platform. Prior to this at Osmonics, Mr. Weitnauer served as Vice President and General Manager of Osmonics from 2000 to 2003, and before this, in a series of increasingly senior sales, marketing and business development positions.

Mr. Andrew A. Krakauer, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Cantel Medical Corp., said "With his extensive background and senior management experience within the water and filtration industry, and given his success as a general manager, as well as in senior sales, marketing and operational roles, Curt is the ideal person to lead our growing water purification and filtration business."
