In this edition of FPP Insight, we are happy to announce a further expansion of our contract manufacturing services to meet your outsourcing needs.
Our plant in Graz, Austria — centre of competence for sterile liquid pharmaceuticals — was successfully inspected by the US FDA in a full 7-day-audit in late 2006. This was challenging for the team involved, but the reward followed immediately — an excellent result.The plant has been given authorisation to export drug products to the U.S., thus enabling us to offer you further interesting potential in the contract manufacturing of sterile products for the US markets.
We would also like to introduce to you some manufacturing capabilities that are relatively new within Fresenius Kabi. With our Portuguese plant we have gained the opportunity to provide manufacturing of oral solid dosage forms – both tablets and capsules.
