Mar Cor Purification, Inc. announced that it has shipped the 12,000th portable RO used in single patient dialysis applications. The unit was sold to Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) for use in treating patients in home and acute settings. The total includes RO systems marketed under the following product names; Millenium™, Semper Pure™, F-801, and the 700 Series. These machines produce high purity water to feed artificial kidney machines that help end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients live better lives. With the increasing number of dialysis patients and the trend towards home dialysis, Mar Cor's products are chosen for their reliability and ease of operation.
