PTI Packaging Systems recently introduced new Twin Stick, the new innovative design for stick packaging that consists of a dual chamber stick pack to create product combinations such as sugar and spoon, salt and pepper, sugar and coffee creamer, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Two complementary products can now be filled in a single package that keeps the products separate until it's time to use them. After opening the stick pack, contents can be dispensed either individually or simultaneously. Contents can be either dry or liquid or even a combination of dry product in one chamber of the package and liquid product in the other is possible.
Sanjeet Saxena, marketing manager for PTI, states "Stick packaging continues to rapidly expand into many markets. A new design such as the Twin Stick opens new product delivery opportunities and possibilities for many product combinations that will ultimately reduce packaging cost and provide added convenience of having two complementary products packaged in a single convenient stick pack."
The machine that produces Twin Stick is a vertical 6-lane stick pack machine manufactured by Schwarze Automation, known for their high performance, high efficiency stick pack filling machinery. Saxena added, "Twin Stick was introduced last month at the Fachpack Exhibition in Nurnberg, Germany and also at the Pack Expo Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Twin Stick was very well received, with potential applications in many industries.
