Creams and lotions are used in a wide variety of applications in the personal care, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. Many of these products are either an oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsion consisting of a combination of emulsifying and thickening agents, emollients, perfume, color and preservatives. The in-line Z Emulsifier can easily produce a more consistent, superior quality emulsion in less time than conventional in-tank, high-shear mixers.
Other benefits include improved product quality and shelf-life stability, single-pass processing resulting in reduced batch times and repeatability batch-after-batch.
