In the compacting process of fine powders we very often have to use water-cooled press rollers.

When processing temperature sensitive raw materials the water-cooling of the press rollers becomes essential. The demand from the pharmaceutical industry requires the use of easily exchangeable rollers. Any possible cooling water leakage respectively product contamination during the compaction of the (partly very expensive) raw materials must be avoided!

A new development of the Alexanderwerk Pharma Compactors makes a contamination by cooling water, even incase of assembly or operator or maintenance mistakes practically impossible.
