Brochure: Non-GLP In Vivo Discovery Contract Services
BASi recognized the need for increasing the amount and type of information generated from drug discovery experiments to create studies with greater predictive value. To that end, BASi has brought together our expertise in the design of research instruments with our experience in contract services to create a unique drug discovery service. This service provides integrated, automated in vivo drug discovery studies that provide a comprehensive in vivo evaluation of new compounds.
At the heart of the process is the Culex Automated In Vivo Sampling System. Created and manufactured by BASi, the Culex makes it possible to collect multiple types of data simultaneously from individual subjects. The Culex system allows for fully automated dosing and sampling, minimizes stress, and permits better qualification of the test compound.
Culex In Vivo Drug Discovery Services:
- Reduce animal use
- Reduce stress for the subjects
- Improve the amount and quality of data available from individual subjects
- Allow you to make early, informed decisions about your compound
- Are tailored to your requirements
Our process offers a high degree of flexibility in experimental design so that we can best suit your evaluation criteria. We do not believe in a cookie-cutter approach to contract service. We will work with you to design the right study for your compound and your company, and establish strong lines of communication to assure the success of each project. It is this approach that has given BASi a reputation as a worldwide leader of scientific excellence.
