External Vial Washers: EVW Series

Designed to decontaminate the external surfaces of containers, PennTechs's External Vial Washers, EVW Series, encapsulate the cap with a water tight seal, preventing potential bacterial growth under the Al-cap. This feature allows for thorough cleaning due to higher washing pressures. As the vials hang in a dual cap-sealing belt, the bottom of the vials is completely exposed to the rinsing fluids.
PennTech's decontaminating machines are designed to clean the external surface of vials. Purified water, W.F.I., detergent and detergent mixtures are media options used for surface decontamination. Compressed air dries the decontamination vials. Starwheels drive the vials through the various washing and drying stations. Spraying nozzles are specifically designed and contoured to avoid the process fluids from being introduced at the seal level. Compressed air blowing nozzles remove the residual washing fluids from the outer glass surfaces, a vacuum pump dries completely the bottom of the vials.

Safety: an accident prevention hood or under pressurized hood with gloves ports is available.
Automation: The decontaminating machine is controlled by an Allen Bradley PLC connected to a touch-screen operator interface terminal. In order to avoid unauthorized access to machine functions password levels are implemented.
