Freeman Technology And C-Therm Present Powder Flow Workshop In Atlanta
November 5, 2008
Coinciding with the 2008 AAPS Annual Meeting & Exposition in Atlanta (16 – 20 November, 2008; Atlanta GA, USA), Freeman Technology and C-Therm Technologies will join forces to present a workshop on ‘Powder Flow & Process Analytical Technology – Tools for Implementation of QbD'.
Users of C-Therm effusivity systems and the Freeman Technology FT4 Powder Rheometer will talk about their experiences with these technologies. Speakers from Pfizer, Covidien and Patheon will give informal presentations alongside experts from the two host companies. The event will be valuable for those seeking greater understanding of different formulation and PAT tools to facilitate Qbd implementation.
This free workshop will take place on Monday 17 November from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center, Atlanta GA, USA. Numbers are limited, so registration is essential. For more details and/or to register please visit www.freemantech.co.uk/pages/registration/AAPS2008_PAT_Info.html or call Freeman Technology on +44 1480 310860.
At the 2008 AAPS Annual Meeting & Exposition, Freeman Technology will be exhibiting on Booth #540 and C-Therm Technologies on Booth #864.
About Freeman Technology
Freeman Technology is a specialist company pioneering the measurement and understanding of powders and their flow properties. Founded in 1989, the company developed the novel, patented technology that forms the core of its Powder Rheometer system at its design and manufacturing centre in Worcestershire, UK where all manufacturing takes place in an ISO 9001:2000 accredited environment. The FT4 Powder Rheometer is a universal powder tester that provides three complementary approaches in a single instrument: measurement of bulk properties including permeability, bulk density and compressability; shear property determination with automated shear cells; and dynamic flowability using patented methodology. In April 2007 the company received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
Freeman systems are installed around the world in a diverse range of industries. Applications range from optimising new formulations and improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes to the establishment of QC criteria for raw materials, intermediates and final product. www.freemantech.co.uk
