Lock's Universal Pharmaceutical Metal Detector Creates Stir
February 26, 2009
Lock Inspection Systems introduces its new digital MET 30+ UNIVERSAL pharmaceutical metal detector that carries forward the key features of the MET 30+ and further enhances them with all new processor hardware and software to deliver groundbreaking performance for a digital metal detector in terms of sensitivity and stability.
The MET 30+ UNIVERSAL pharmaceutical metal detector remains stable to the worst imaginable external interference such as shocks and vibration, while at the same time delivering unrivalled sensitivity to metal contamination – even in the presence of extremely high product signal. The UNIVERSAL has a digital range of 32,000 - a full 15 times greater than that of previous detectors. The MET 30+ UNIVERSAL Pharmaceutical metal detector is able to detect metal particles as small as 0.25 mm ferrous, 0.3 mm non ferrous and 0.4 mm stainless steel.
Lock provides full validation documentation and 21 CFR, Part 11 capability on metal detectors. The MET 30+ UNIVERSAL pharmaceutical metal detector comes with ADC, Lock's unique diagnostic software that provides real time performance information. Lock also offers an optional data management software program called Datachek that allows system operators to change product set-ups, control various statistical parameters, and download data from up to 40 Lock systems from a single location.
