The Sartobran wash water capsules are membrane filter capsules have been specially designed for the use in sterile filtration of wash water in hospitals. These wash water filter capsules consist of a polypropylene housing that incorporates a filter element with a filtration area of 500 cm. Application Examples: Apllications for these capsules range from high-risk areas, such as bone marrow transplantation units, to normal hospital bed units in large clinics. There capsules are installed directly at the point of use, thus guaranteeing reliable retention of microbes during the following activities: – Wound care – Showering and bathing patients – Providing dental care to patients – Washing hands – Flushing medical equipment used in treatment.
Absolute retention and safety: According to the international pharmaceutical HIMA|ASTM guidelines for sterile filters, every Sartobran Wash Water Capsule delivers a sterile filtrate when challenged with 1 x E7 Brevundimonas diminuta per cm². Sartobran Wash Water Capsules are biosafe. They comply with the standards of the USP Plastics Class VI and are FDA-listed.
