Sartofluor LG filter cartridges, manufactured with permanently hydrophobic and chemically resistant PTFE membranes, are specially designed for filtration of aggressive liquids (solvent filtration) and are also suitable for sterile gas/air filtration.
Sartofluor LG 0.2 µm & 0.1 µm Filter Cartridges
Sartofluor LG filter cartridges, manufactured with permanently hydrophobic PTFE membranes, are specially designed for sterile filtration of aggressive media (acids and bases) and solvents where adherence to cGMP´s is a must. Due to their permanent hydrophobicity, Sartofluor LG cartridges offer the highest process security. LG stands for Liquid and Gas applications, that means Sartofluor LG suits also in gas or vent applications where no high air flow rates are required. The membrane is the same as used in the gas filter cartridge Sartofluor GA. Performance: PTFE is the most hydrophobic of all membranes used in sterile filtration of gasses.

MaxiCaps are a unique new housing design concept from Sartorius Stedim Biotech that brings the benefits of single use filter elements to process scale. The incorporation of standard filter cartridges into self contained, high, quality polypropylene housings makes it possible to operate large scale filter installations without the need for filter housings. Applications: Sartofluor LG MaxiCaps improve the process security of sterile filtration of aggressive media (acids and bases) and solvents.
