The arium EDI 61215 laboratory water purification system is designed to produce ASTM type 2 water for general laboratory applications. The arium EDI 61215 provides consistent water quality by delivering purified water at a rate of at least 15 l/hr while rejecting 99% of inorganic contaminants as well as bacteria and viruses. The arium EDI 61215 purification procedure that combines reverse osmosis, softening and electronic | chemical desalting enables a nearly maintenance-free and inexpensive supply of pure water. By use of an optional closed pressurized tank (30, 70, 100 liter) the product water will be distributed with up to 3 bar to the point of use.

Features:

  • Four line alphanumerical display
  • Display of conductivity, rejection rate, tank level, temperature etc.
  • Production capacity up to 360 l/day
  • Automatic RO membrane back-flush with RO permeate
  • Several alarm and service functions
  • Product water storage in open gravity or closed pressurized tank
  • Serial interface RS-232 port
  • Flexible display unit can be mounted at the top or bottom of the unit or in a remote location up to 2.8M from the system
Applications:
  • Feed water for ultrapure type I water systems
  • Rinsing glassware and laboratory vessels
  • Media and buffer preparation
  • Feed water for humidifiers, autoclaves and dishwashers
Performance Specifications:
  • Typical resistivity*: 10-15 M? x cm
  • Typical conductivity*: 0.1-0.07 µS/cm
  • Typical TOC level*: < 30ppb
  • Product flow rate: (± 20% at 25°C) 16[l/h]*
  • Maximum recovery rate* Approx. 55%
Rejection rates of RO modules:
  • Monovalent ions: Up to 98%
  • Polyvalent ions: Up to 99%
  • Particles: > 99%
  • Microorganisms: > 99%
  • Dissolved organics: (>300 MW): > 99%
* Depends of feed water quality and temperature

Inlet feed water requirements:

  • Potable tap water feed only (feed water to meet drinking water standards of the U.S., European Union or Japan)
  • Minimum inlet pressure: 1.2 bar | 17.4 psi
  • Maximum inlet pressure: 6.8 bar |100 psi
