cGMP Training Is Scheduled At Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Institute

June 1, 2004

Companies in the Nutrition and Pharmaceutical Industries are gearing up for the new FDA compliance standards which go into effect in the next few months. They need to be trained in a variety of manufacturing, operations and regulatory areas so they will be ready when the FDA comes calling.

Natoli Engineering will hold cGMP compliance training June 29-30 at The International Institute of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, one of the first pharmaceutical manufacturing training centers in the Americas. The state-of-the-art Institute is located in the new building on the Natoli Campus in St. Charles, Missouri, just 30 minutes from Lambert St. Louis International Airport.

The two-day training session is an effective way to move manufacturers toward meeting cGMP compliance guidelines. Cynthia Beehner of Quality Systems Design, one of the tableting industry's most experienced trainers, will be the key facilitators.

Among the topics covered at the cGMP Compliance Training include ten principles for a cGMP environment, creation of company documentation for product registration, labeling regulatory reviews, third-party cGMP auditing, customer complaint management, assistance with recalls, field corrections and safety alerts, vendor audits, training for operation and maintenance and FDA's proposed final Dietary Supplement/Dietary Ingredient cGMPs

Natoli Engineering is offering a special introductory rate for the two-day cGMP training session…the first training to be held in the new Institute. The introductory rate is $249 per person, including materials and group lunches. Class size is limited.

The Institute is the next step in Natoli's long-term affiliation with education for the pharmaceutical industry. Dale Natoli is the author of "The Encyclopedia of Pharmaceutical Technology, Volume 15", and is a contributing author to "The Tableting Specification Manual," (formerly known as "The IPT Manual"), sponsored by the American Pharmaceutical Association for use as a teaching tool within pharmacy schools and manufacturing businesses.
