Anton Paar 5K Walk/Run During PittCon 2013

Since the first days of the company in 1922, Anton Paar has focused on promoting the active lifestyles of its employees. In 2001, Anton Paar formalized that focus into a program to promote the health and wellbeing of its employees – Anton Paar in Motion. By placing emphasis on movement, healthy eating, relaxation, and cultural events, the project has resulted in many additions to daily corporate life.

As an extension of this program, Anton Paar USA is proud to announce the Anton Paar 5k Walk/Run, taking place at the 2013 PittCon Conference& Expo on March 19 at 7:00 a.m.  All proceeds of the Anton Paar 5k Walk/Run are being donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Whether as a walker or a runner, this is the perfect event to get active with your colleagues in the scientific community while giving back to the men and women in uniform.

Onsite registration will also be available during PittCon registration at the Philadelphia Convention Center on March 17 from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. and on March 18 from 8:30 am to 5:30 p.m. Advance registration is strongly encouraged.  Awards for top finishers will be handed out on March 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anton Paar booth #1131.
