Case Study: Small Scale Commercial Manufacturing

By listening to the customer’s need, Patheon recognized that orphan drug volumes were best suited to running on smaller scale filling lines which allows for simplification of the commercialization process. Working closely with our customer, Patheon devised a program leading to submission of the NDA dossier in late 2007. The FDA approved the line for commercial supply in December 2008.
