The compact BLI machine is fed by stacking the blister packs and by a pick and place mechanism inserted in a testing chamber. Special sensors analyze the swelling of each blister cell when applied under vacuum and will reject faulty leaking blister packs accordingly. The BLI machine is fully computerized utilizing a SCADA platform. The software is easy to operate and includes utilities such as a products database, Statistical reports etc. A printer is also installed for printing test results and parameters. The output may easily reach 600 cph, which makes it ideal for non-destructive testing of expensive drugs. Laboratory semi-automatic models are also available.

The inspection systems are studied in the minimum details and developed in order to meet any requirement of non-destructive testing of any kind of package, in particular such machinery are designed to test all the pharmaceutical containers such as vials, glass and plastic vials, ampoules, blister packs, BFS monodose, plastic strip, pouch containing IV solutions etc, at any production speed that is required.
