Hang around pharmaceutical drug manufacturers long enough and the conversation will undoubtedly make its way back to a global dilemma: safeguarding the public from counterfeit drugs. Now that H.R. 3204 – Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA) is law, US-based prescription drug manufacturers must be able to verify the authenticity, identity and whereabouts of their drug products from manufacturing through distribution supply chains.
