Marken Appoints Paul J. Rice To Head EMEA Region

Appointment brings 23 years of logistics and pharmaceutical experience to Marken

Marken announced recently the appointment of Paul J. Rice as Vice President, Logistics, EMEA Region. Mr. Rice will be based in London but will have responsibility for the branches and associated business in Europe and Africa including: Paris, London, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Brussels, Stockholm, Zurich and Johannesburg.

Mr. Rice brings 23 years of relevant experience including senior roles in logistics and supply chain within the healthcare and life sciences markets. He joins Marken from Alliance Boots where he served as Commercial Director for Europe. Prior to his role at Alliance Boots, he was Executive Director for EMEA Distribution and Logistics at Merck & Co. which followed ten years in various roles at DHL / Exel. He has extensive international experience throughout the world including the EMEA region but also in Asia and the United States. Mr. Rice holds a BS degree in Engineering and a Masters degree in Business Administration.
