New Appointment Coincides With Opening Of Beijing Depot

Marken announced recently that they have appointed Ms. Joan Yan as its new General Manager for their Beijing office, effective July 1. Ms. Yan will be responsible for the logistics operations in China and will also have administrative responsibility for the new depot facility which has recently been commissioned for the GMP storage and distribution of drug product and ancillary materials.

Ms. Yan has more than 10 years of supply chain management experience which includes both domestic and international transportation, customs brokerage, customer service and account management.  She joins the company from CEVA Logistics.  Prior to CEVA, Ms. Yan worked with DB Schenker China Ltd., Chunfai International and Perkin Elmer China Inc.  Over the years, she has accumulated significant logistics and multinational project management experience.  She holds a Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Beijing Capital University of Medical Science.
