Hach Ultra announced the introduction of MET ONE 7000 Series Remote Airborne Particle Counters.

Designed to meet requirements of the new ISO 21501 calibration standard, the MET ONE 7000 Series remote airborne particle counters offer accurate and reliable continuous particle monitoring for the Life Science industry. ISO 21501 is a new calibration standard replacing ASTM F328 and other similar existing standards. Manufacturers using cleanrooms classified under ISO 14644 are recommended to use ISO 21501 for calibration of their optical air particle counters. Additional testing required by ISO 21501, such as counting efficiency and sizing resolution, ensures that an ISO 21501 compliant counter identifies the particle size correctly and counts the particles with accuracy and repeatability in a low particle concentration, ultra pure cleanroom environment.

Available in a sensitivity range of 0.3 to 10 µm, and flow rates of 2.83 LPM or 28.3 LPM, the MET ONE 7000 Series is designed to meet the specific needs of cleanroom operations within the pharmaceutical, vaccine, medical implant and equipment manufacturing industries using aseptic and sterile processes.

The MET ONE 7000 Series offers an industry leading user notification indicator feature providing reduced troubleshooting and downtime related costs. Built with Long Life Laser technology the MET ONE 7000 Series offers an unparalleled user experience in product quality, reliability and performance for remote particle counting while reducing overall cost of ownership.

With the widest choice of communication options such as RS485 Serial Modbus, Ethernet, Analog and Wireless, the MET ONE 7000 Series is easy to integrate with any facility monitoring system and enables future upgrading as the communication needs of a facility changes. These communication choices and an array of mechanical quick-connect installation hardware also reduce downtime related to instrument removal and re-installation during routine calibration and preventative maintenance work.

Built with a sealed stainless-steel enclosure, sealed power, vacuum and communication connectors, and optical components made of and vaporous hydrogen peroxide (VHP) compatible material, the MET ONE 7000 Series is tolerant to washdown and VHP-based disinfecting processes.

Installed with a Hach Ultra recommended FMS software, such as UVO or enVigil, the MET ONE 7000 Series meets the necessary regulatory compliance needs for 21 CFR Part 11. The remote particle counters can also be integrated with the most commonly used industrial building management system and SCADA software with an OPC server.
