PennTech To Unveil The Compounding Pharmacists Vial Washer At 2014 INTERPHEX

Through recent demand and in response to the U.S. Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA), PennTech will unveil the latest in their RW Series of vial washers Model RW-250 at the 2014 (INTERPHEX) March 18-20 in New York City.
The objective of vial washing is to remove particulate matter and microorganisms. Traditional vial washers have many moving parts (grippers with springs, penetrating spray needles, chains, moving rods, gears, belts, chains, grease points, etc.) in the washing chamber. Not only do these all generate particulate matter, but many times there is glass chipping and vial breakage. PennTech vial washers are designed with minimal moving parts.
Uniquely engineered with versatility and efficiency in mind, the RW-250 vial washer has a very small footprint of only 45” x 50”. Not only can the RW-250 handle a vial range of 1-125ml, but it has been intrinsically designed for 3-log endotoxin reduction.
