Phillips-Medisize Corp. Appoints Richard Even As GM Of Medical Campus In Menomonie Wisconsin

Phillips-Medisize Corporation recently announced the appointment of Richard Even as General Manager of BioPharma and the medical campus in Menomonie Wisconsin. This is the latest in a series of strategic hires driven by the company’s continued growth in biopharma drug delivery devices, consumable diagnostics, and medical devices.

“Rich is a seasoned senior operations leader, with extensive multi-plant experience with high and low volume drug delivery and consumable diagnostics device industrialization and production experience. Richard has a strong focus on operational improvement and a mindset around the culture of safety, quality and performance consistent with our biopharma and diagnostics customers,” remarked Matt Jennings, Chairman and CEO of Phillips-Medisize.

Mr. Even comes to Phillips-Medisize most recently from Nypro Healthcare, a division of Jabil. Over the period of 32 years, Even acquired a vast background focused on operational excellence across multiple medical and biopharma device markets, facilities and geographies. For the past six years, he has led operations in Asia, overseeing thousands of teammates across five facilities with a focus on markets including drug delivery, diagnostics and medical surgical devices. Prior to his experience in Asia, Even served in a number of pharmaceutical device plants that contract manufactured a range of products. He also has a long track record of continuous improvement through the deployment and implementation of Lean Principles in medical device and contract manufacturing environments.
