SP Scientific Invests In Training & Demonstration Laboratory Facility
SP Scientific has announced further investment into its state-of-the-art training and demonstration laboratory facility at its Warminster, PA site.
The demonstration laboratory will now be able to offer customers and potential clients the opportunity to book an appointment to test / demo SP Scientific’s latest products including the AdVantage Pro, Benchtop Pro and LyoStar 3 Freeze Dryer with SMART™, ControLyo™ and TDLAS. If required, specialty items can be brought in upon customer request.
The 1200 square foot facility will also continue to accommodate SP Scientific's popular 4-day Lyophilization Laboratory training courses (www.spscientific.com/HandsOnTraining/). The next course, due to run from September 30th – October 3rd, 2014, will cover freeze drying and cycle optimization techniques and focus on the freeze drying process from formulation and thermal analysis to cycle development and optimization, packaging, and troubleshooting. The course will include hands-on use of freeze dryers, as well as other equipment and technology used in lyophilization cycle development, such as differential scanning calorimetry, freeze dry microscopy, and moisture analysis.
In addition to providing an extensive demonstration and training capability – the SP Scientific course allows attendees the chance at in-depth discussions with application specialists to investigate the feasibility and optimize freeze drying cycles for their products. To date, over 150 attendees from pharmaceutical and biotechnical companies throughout the world have attended this one-of-kind course.
