Wabash National Corporation’s Walker Barrier Systems, a leading brand of containment and aseptic systems, recently announced the addition of two isolator models to its range of standard products. The IsoPharm and SteriPharm Isolators are available to customers seeking cost-effective systems while maintaining the high standards required for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech and chemical markets.

Until recently the IsoPharm and SteriPharm were only manufactured at Wabash National’s operations in Huddersfield, United Kingdom, under the globally recognized Extract Technology brand. Now these proven containment solutions are also being manufactured at Wabash National’s operations in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, and available in the North and South American markets under the Walker Barrier Systems name.

The IsoPharm is engineered to optimize cost and efficiency while simplifying everyday running procedures for small-scale weighing and dispensing operations during the handling of high-potency active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs). The IsoPharm is available with two, three or four gloveports and entry/exit airlock.

The SteriPharm is a user- and maintenance-friendly system that provides a cost-effective alternative for sterility testing and is ideal for customers with limited laboratory space. The SteriPharm is configured with two or four glove product-handling chambers. Optional entry/exit airlocks complete with rapid gassing facility enable operators to handle products in a highly controlled process flow.
