Video: Defect: Contamination
Seal-Scan™ 525 performing a C-Scan on a pouch seal with an area of contamination that is caused by foreign material that is trapped in the seal area during the heat sealing process. C-Scan is a series of linear scans along the pouch seal that produces a digital image of the seal. After C-Scan is completed, a single L-Scan (linear scan) result is shown above the C-Scan image. The L-Scan further illustrates the change in ultrasonic signal at the location of the contaminated area.
