Video: Defect: Delamination Example 2
Seal-Scan™ 525 performing a C-Scan on another pouch seal with an area of delamination caused by the separation of the laminate materials. C-Scan is a series of linear scans along the pouch seal that produces a digital image of the seal. After C-Scan is completed, a single L-Scan (linear scan) result is shown above the C-Scan image. The pink/red area of the seal and the L-Scan illustrate the change in ultrasonic signal measurement at the location of the seal delamination.
