On March 9, 2000, FDA's Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee will discuss drug development for Alzheimer's and other dementias. The panel will address the problem of how to identify, define, and name clinical entities that fall under the dementia category in order to prevent misleading labeling.
The committee's deliberations will be televised live by videoconferencing, webcast and telephone link ups. In addition, videotapes will be available shortly after the meeting.
