The PGS 300 is the most powerful flexible grater/shredder made by Alexanderwerk. Depending on the raw material and the working cylinder, the PGS 300 will process the material at a throughput rate of between 1,000 and 4,000 kg/hr.

The PGS 300 is used in the pharma, food-processing and chemical industries for grating and shredding dry or wet solid raw materials, but also for:

Grating
Shredding
Loosening up
Granulating
Homogenizing
Deagglomerating

The PGS 300 has been developed based upon the many years of experience of Alexanderwerk in the design and manufacture of grater/shredders:

Made of stainless steel 1.4404
Gas-tight gearbox design
One-piece gear box made of cast stainless steel
FDA approval optionally available
Optional Ex-design (ATEX),
Optional "Wash In Place" (WIP) design
Optional water-cooling of drive shaft

The PGS 300 is also available as a mobile unit with a trolley. So, this may be your first choice for processing smaller batches of different products at different locations. Alternatively, the PGS 300 may be installed inline as a flanged design version.
