The Inline High Shear Mixer Emulsifier is designed to assist in the wetting of difficult-to-wet solids or minor liquids, on a continuous basis. The device draws in liquids and solids into an inlet connection, exposes the mixture to mechanical and hydraulic shear at the rotor-stator interface, and expels the product through the outlet connection. The unit takes advantage of a strong vacuum force that occurs behind the rotor-stator. Powder hoppers or flexible tubes and wands can be used to feed the material to the higher shear zone. The device also features sanitary fittings that allow cleaning between batches.
