Hudson, WI — Niro Soavi North America announced today that it has completed the Niro Soavi Energy Series High-Pressure Pumps and Homogenizers Standard Program. The Energy Series machines include 19 production models and 5 laboratory and pilot scale models – the most comprehensive and versatile homogenizer program for the pharmaceutical/biotech, food, and dairy industries. The Energy Series machines have gradually been introduced during 1999 and 2000 and all 24 different standard models are now available in this improved version of the well-known Niro Soavi product line.

The Niro Soavi Energy Series program is supported by the Niro Soavi North America technical center in Hudson, WI, as a part of the stable Niro Inc. organization covering USA and Canada.

The Energy Series machine design features include:

Mono-block or multi-block VHP (very high-pressure) compression heads
Capacities up to 50,000 l/h / 220 gpm
Pressures up to 1,500 bar / 21,750 psi continuous operation
Transmission including gear reducer for more compact design
Prepared for CIP
Sterilizable in Place (SIP)
Easy manual cleaning in line with USDA requirements
3A Sanitary design
Designed and manufactured under ISO 9001 approved quality assurance system
New improved cabinets including improved noise reduction lining 85 dB – total enclosure available for noise requirements below 75 dB
Aseptic option including aseptic homogenizing and pressure relief valves
Provided with all FDA-approved product contact materials
Interchangeable ball or poppet suction and delivery check valves
Ceramic piston with special Niro Soavi packing assembly
Abrasion- and corrosion-resistant ceramic or tungsten carbide homogenizing valves
One- or two-stage homogenizing valves with reversible emulsion or rupture-type valves

The popular Niro Soavi high-pressure pumps and homogenizers are still based on the extensive Niro Soavi know-how and expertise in designing rigid, durable, and stable operating machines. Every machine is factory tested for 24 hours at full design parameters before release under the ISO 9001 quality assurance program.
