New Air Atomizing Nozzle with Exclusive Index Metering Adjustment Delivers Accuracy and Repeatability

Simple Clicks Simplify Flow Adjustment

Spraying Systems Co. continues a tradition of innovation with the latest feature for our ¼JAU Automatic Air Atomizing Nozzle. No longer is it necessary to adjust the liquid flow rate utilizing separate valves or the shut-off screw on the nozzle itself. Now, with a few simple clicks of our new exclusive indexing liquid metering adjustment, you gain precise and stable adjustments to the flow rate that can be easily repeated.

With counter-clockwise turns of the metering knob, you have the flexibility to control the percentage of total flow in 5% increments from zero to 100%. This feature is particularly useful in manifold situations, where you can make differing adjustments on individual nozzles for improved overall performance.

¼JAUMCO - the Latest Addition to Our Automatic Air Atomizing Nozzle Line

Our new ¼JAUMCO Automatic Air Atomizing Nozzle combines our indexing liquid metering adjustment with our popular ¼JAU Automatic Air Atomizing Nozzle. The ¼JAU is a compact, precision nozzle that produces an extremely fine spray by mixing compressed air with liquid. It is available in a wide variety of spray set-ups with unique Drip Free™ design that give a complete selection of capacities and spray patterns. This nozzle features an internal air cylinder for controlled "on-off" operation up to 180 cycles per minute. The "on-off" cycle interrupts only the liquid portion of the spray. To minimize clogging, our design includes a clean-out needle.

The ¼JAUMCO is well suited for high-viscous liquid applications, such as tablet coating, lubrication and applying coatings and ingredients to food products.

Convert Your Existing Nozzles

If you are currently using ¼JAU air atomizing nozzles, you can add our indexing liquid metering adjustment to most nozzles with our new conversion kit, 63003. Contact your Spraying Systems Co. sales engineer for more information.

Two Options in High Quality Construction

Our ¼JAUMCO and conversion kit are available in two materials of construction.

• General-purpose version: For non-corrosive liquids and applications
  
• 316SS version: For mildly corrosive liquids and applications. All wetted parts are 316 stainless and FDA compliant Viton® and Teflon®.

• Design permits precise liquid flow metering by accurate adjustment of the metering needle
