Video Inspection Of Vials, Ampoules, Cartridges, And Syringes
The CVT series of inspection machines, from Bosch subsidiary Moeller & Devicon, uses video camera technology to inspect vials, ampoules, cartridges, and syringes at speeds up to 600 per minute. This series specifically inspects for particulate contamination in the product, but also detects chips, cracks and scratches as well as burn marks in ampoules and ring codes.
The heart of the machine is the unique Slitec inspection method that requires no moving parts. Instead, the window from the camera is divided into several "virtual" frames so that during the passing of the containers several images are taken, one in each frame. Each image is analyzed for the presence of particles and then compared to the other images taken of the same container.
The CVT can inspect cartridges containing mixing beads, as well as clear and colored liquids, and suspensions.
