Bunting Magnetic Liquid Traps come equipped with high-energy Neodymium magnets to remove ferrous and weakly magnetic tramp from liquid processing and conveying lines. Bunting Traps are completely self-contained and require no electrical wires or cables. Used alone or in conjunction with metal detectors, they ensure the purity of the product before it is packaged or leaves the plant.
These traps remove steel fragments that can wear or destroy sensitive processing equipment. They also indicate when equipment is worn or requires service by monitoring the type and amount of tramp metal collected.
Cartridge-Style and Plate-Style traps come in 2, 3 and 4 in. housing sizes to fit a wide range of applications. Standard fittings are available for tube and pipe up to 4 in. diameter. Standard features include corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel construction, high-strength V-band clamps for quick cleaning and interlocking gaskets.
