Niro Inc., a member of the GEA group, has introduced a spray dryer for research and development applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and fine ceramic industries.

The company has used special customer requirements and experience from the supply of close to 2000 Mobile Minor spray dryers to create a dryer with flexibility, ease of operation and cleaning, and a value added price/capacity ratio.

The spray dryer can operate with a rotary atomizer or a two- fluid nozzle in co-current or fountain mode. The exhaust air system can include a high efficiency cyclone and/or different types of fabric or metallic filters.

Continuous data recording is an important factor in all research and development work for precise data evaluation and reproducibility. The process control unit therefore features an operator panel with integrated PLC, which makes the most important data easily available.
