POM Passive Buck Valve
… Lighter in weight than stainless steel passive valves
… Fit Buck plastic seed containers or plastic bins for the lightest possible overall weight
… Allow maximum capacity within employee lifting weight limits
Some of the main features of the new POM passive Buck valves are:
… Made of FDA-approved materials
… Sanitary in design and construction
… Can be CIP or SIP
… Resistant properties similar to 316L stainless steel
… Easily docked to Buck active valves
… Less weight than stainless steel, yet very durable
Buck split-valve technology allows containers to maintain a dust-tight seal while connecting with (and disconnecting from) intermediate bulk containers and various process equipment such as mills, dryers, blenders, presses, and compactors. The design eliminates contamination of the product or leakage of material that might endanger operators to less than 1 microgram/m3.
Buck is part of Niro Pharma Systems, which specializes in the manufacture of equipment for the production of materials in powder, granulate, agglomerate, and tablet form. Niro products include spray dryers and coolers, fluid bed processors, tablet presses, particulate processing systems, membrane filtration systems, homogenizers, mixers & blenders, IBCs, docking systems & valves, and powder packaging systems.
