Combining a compact design with advanced particle sizing capabilities, the Microplus is suitable for monitoring of particle size distributions. The small footprint means that it can be located at the point of sampling for analysis and control of processes involving slurries, emulsions or suspensions.
Samples are introduced to the instrument using a standard beaker, with effective dispersion achieved using a built-in pump and mechanical stirrer or an ultrasonic probe. A single lens system and low maintenance laser optics deliver high quality results on a routine basis with the minimum of demands on operator time.
