The Family of Sartoflow Crossflow Systems feature the latest advances in crossflow technology from Sartorius. Our crossflow systems are constructed to hold any cassette. The Sartoflow 10 & 20 are Crossflow filtration systems for intermediate to full scale MF and UF biopharmaceutical applications.
They are mainly used in cGMP facilities to run development, clinical trial and production lots. The systems are designed to accommodate upto 10/20 Sartorius Sartocon Cassettes (7/14m2).
The Sartoflow 10 & 20 sport either the Sartorius Sartoflow 10 or 20 Universal cassette holder complete a hydraulic closure system which redefines ease of use while providing foolproof security.
The Sartoflow 10 & 20 are Semi-automatic systems complete with automatic backpressure control, as well as safety features like a high pressure set point.
Sartocon filter cassettes utilize a parallel leaf design which provides the user with linear scale-up and predictable performance for future production needs.
Therefore, the flow characteristics of a 5 square foot system are the sames as the flow characteristics of a 500 square foot system. Sartorius offers standard systems like the Sartoflow 10/20 Auto Crossflow system as well as custom designs for laboratory, pilot plant and manufacturing.
