Sartorius Stedim Biotech recently launched two new premium grade Sterilizing Grade Filters: Sartopore 2 XLG and XLI. These filters offer significant performance benefits in many biopharmaceutical applications by combining more effective prefilter layers with a 30% increase in effective filtration area.
These heterogeneous double layer PES membrane filters have 0.8-um (XLG) & and 0.35-um (XLI) Prefilters with the same, reliable, 0.2-um Sterilizing Grade final membrane as our current Sartopore 2. Their total throughput performance exceeds most commercially available PES filter membranes by 80-100% in many applications including Serum-Free Cell Culture Media & Downstream Intermediates filtration.
