Supor EKV polyethersulfone membrane filters are validated, 0.2 µm sterilizing-grade filters that offer an optimized built-in proprietary asymmetric technology prefiltration layer for longer filter life and lower filtra¬tion costs. The filters are suitable for sterile filtration of a wide range of fluids including buffers, biological flu¬ids, cell culture media, ophthalmic products. The low protein and preservative binding characteristics of the Supor polyethersulfone membrane also ensure maximum transmission of active ingredients.
Pall Supor EAV 0.2 µm particulate retention-grade filters also incorporate a new hydrophilic and asymmetric polyethersulfone membrane for bioburden reduction and superior dirt load capacity for even the finest par¬ticles. Moreover, the Ultipleat® elements used for 10 in. (254 mm) elements with a narrow core and mechanically robust filter configuration offers maximum membrane area and extended service life with the most complex biologic fluids, as well as very short processing times in the case of high-volume buffers, cell culture media or supernatants. In all applications, these membrane and design benefits mean higher yield, higher process safety, less time, and less handling, at less cost.
