TwinValve: High Containment Valve

The TwinValve is a simple and reliable solution to handle powders, granules, tablets and capsules. It can be used as standard butterfly valve on bins and can be easily retrofitted on existing Powder Handling Plants allowing containment during powder transfer and a high flexibility.
The TwinValve is a simple and reliable solution to handle powders, granules, tablets and capsules. It can be used as standard butterfly valve on bins and can be easily retrofitted on existing Powder Handling Plants allowing containment during powder transfer and a high flexibility.
TwinValve has a simple design based on the combination of two sanitary butterfly valves and a patented orbital rotating spray head fitted in a small hopper in between the two valves.
The volume chamber between the two valves can be cleaned by compressed air, water/solvent and/or steam. allowing to work a wide range of active products.
The Occupational Exposure Band 5 (=1 µg/m3) is achievable with compressed air cleaning.
