The Vivapure® Anti-HSA/IgG Kit for Human Albumin and IgG Depletion provides an effective, convenient and fast means for improving 2D-PAGE resolution by removing over 95% of human serum albumin (HSA) and high removal rates of IgG from body fluids such as serum and plasma. Albumin removal is accomplished utilizing a unique antibody fragment coupled to a low-binding, crosslinked agarose, and IgG removal is achieved with a Protein G ligand. This kit based on affinity ligands voids cross-reactivity with other human proteins and in contrast to other affinity ligand based products is priced for single use. Single use affinity medium is especially important to prevent cross contamination of the sample.
