Coating Pan Maintains Content Uniformity Within 25% To 100% Of Capacity

The PERFIMA perforated pan incorporates an exclusive Shark Fin baffle, enabling the pan to maintain content uniformity within 25% to 100% of the rated capacity. In addition position and dimensions of the outlet air duct allow a uniform drying of the product, thus saving energy. Spray guns are mounted on a support arm and can be positioned and adjusted from the external part of the machine, by using the relevant device. The arm slides out from the coater, easing gun changing and calibration. Special seals completely isolate the machine making it suitable for full containment installations and for completely automatic CIP; nozzles and spray balls covers all areas of the machine and are always in position.

Perfima is a perforated pan for tablet film and sugar coating. The pan has a round shape and mixing baffles are positioned on the central sector of the drum. This shape is the same as the GS solid wall pans and has proven over the years to guarantee the best mixing results.

Main Characteristics

  • A wide range of batches can be processed in the same machine (from 25% to 100% of the pan capacity) with no need to change the drum.
  • Position and dimensions of the outlet air duct ensure good and uniform drying of the product, thus saving energy.
  • The spray guns feature an Anti-Bearding-Cap (ABC) system, preventing the guns from clogging while the machine is working. Additionally they are fitted on a sliding support arm and are positioned and adjusted from the outside by using the relevant device.
  • Easy inspection through the front and side doors.
  • The machine can be fitted with a Clean In Place system.
  • Possibility to install the machine "through the wall" to separate technical and processing area.
