INTERPHEX Scholarships To Be Awarded At INTERPHEX

Health Science Industry Scholarship Fund to Award to Outstanding Students on April 21, 2015

International Pharmaceutical Expo (INTERPHEX), the premier industry event dedicated to showcasing pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical innovation, technology and knowledge, recently announced that two outstanding students will be awarded INTERPHEX Scholarships by the Health Science Industry Scholarship Fund (HSISF). The INTERPHEX Scholarship was established to provide financial support to qualified undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in the health sciences and related fields. The students will be recognized during INTERPHEX 2015, April 21-23, at the Javits Center in New York.

"This year, two INTERPHEX Scholarships in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to qualified undergraduate or graduate students pursuing studies in health sciences," said Robert R. Lechich, Chair of the Health Science Industry Scholarship Fund. "We are excited to award the INTERPHEX Scholarships at INTERPHEX 2015, surrounded by their future peers, industry leaders, and outstanding development and manufacturing companies from around the world. In addition, the winning students will be present at the HSISF booth during the show. We look forward to introducing them to our industry colleagues."

About Health Science Industry Scholarship Fund
Our Mission is to provide financial assistance to qualified graduate and undergraduate students pursuing health science related degrees at accredited colleges and universities throughout the United States and its territories. The Fund will accomplish its mission by building a portfolio of endowed and unrestricted funds which will be used to fund scholarship awards and to facilitate cost effective functioning of the organization. The endowed portion of the fund will be invested judiciously to ensure asset security while assuring growth commensurate with current prudent investing.

The Fund was created by, and continues to grow through, tax deductible contributions made by individuals and corporations as well as through appreciation of the asset base. The number and amounts of scholarships that will be awarded annually is determined by and authorized by the Board of Trustees. Eligible students must meet the requirements indicated including attendance at an accredited academic institution. The HSISF is an approved 501c3 charitable organization incorporated in and operated under the laws of the State of New Jersey. The HSISF is a wholly volunteer-run organization with no paid staff. Trustees are health science industry professionals selected by the Board to manage the operation of the HSISF.
