Laboratory Processing Systems from Glatt Air Techniques

Glatt's offers a wide array of fluid bed, high shear granulation & pan coating systems for pharmaceutical R&D processing. Glatt's on going development of design innovations and process improvement continue to yield benefits to the pharmaceutical manufacturers we serve.

First, in the area of fluid bed processing, Glatt's newest introduction in this area is the Mini-Glatt. The Mini-Glatt is designed to bring Glatt's process expertise down to 50 grams/batch, especially useful in the early stages of development for actives that may be extremely expensive and/or in limited availability. The Mini-Glatt is capable of both solvent and aqueous processing and is designed for drying, top spray granulation or Wurster bottom spray particle coating.

Moving on to high shear granulation, the Glatt TMG provides an economic & flexible processing unit that includes multiple processing chambers in a single processor. The TMG is designed to handle 1, 2, 4 and 6-liter bowls. Glatt's design has many advantages over conventional high shear granulators with our unique Z-blade design, cross screw chopper system, ease of use and high process efficiencies.

Glatt's new GMPC I Multi-Pan provides a single and flexible development tool for small scale development and clinical manufacturing. The GMPC- I provides a processing range of 1.1 to 4 liters through a 3 pan system that includes a standard 12", short 12" and 14" drum sizes. The GMPC can be provided inn standard or explosion proof designs. The GMPC is also designed with the latest considerations for process control and GMP compliance.
